WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2009, the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association (BLLA) is the voice of the world’s independent boutique and lifestyle hotels.The association was founded in response to a demand for a collective voice for this fragmented industry. Today the association has more than 750 members.
As the hospitality industry sees an ever-increasing demand from discerning boutique-seeking clients, BLLA is primarily dedicated to creating greater economic success for independent hoteliers by helping them level the playing field against larger brands and chains, including the ‘boutique’ sub-brands of the big chains.
As the only association to champion the needs of independent boutique and lifestyle properties around the world, BLLA was created to be the unifying voice of this distinctive sector of the hospitality industry. The association unites boutique hoteliers with discerning travelers, other hoteliers, qualified hospitality suppliers and vendors, travel professionals and other booking agents.
BLLA members enjoy valuable networking opportunities, educational programs and knowledge-sharing platforms.
Most significantly, the Boutique and Lifestyle Lodging Association offers its members the chance to take control of their industry— how it’s defined and represented and how it will grow and evolve in the future—to ensure that the boutique and lifestyle sector reaps the rewards it deserves.
