About the Foundation

PURPOSE

We have 3 main purposes:
1. Aid struggling boutique & lifestyle hotels by providing them the needed finances, support & guidance
2. Help students get the needed education to pursue a hospitality career through scholarships and mentorships
3. Support struggling and up & coming artists by helping them network in the hotel industry and by helping put their artwork into hotels

WHAT THE FOUNDATION DOES

Through the connections we have through the association, we will use these resources to create awareness and funds to aid the struggling boutique hotel, the student and the artist.

The Boutique Lodging & Lifestyle Association (BLLA) Foundation is the arm of the BLLA dedicated to the advancement of education and charitable ventures.

In order to advance understanding of the boutique and lifestyle section, the BLLA Foundation provides some grants for hospitality industry personnel seeking assistance with hospitality training. Additionally, the Foundation provides ongoing funding for philanthropic efforts that contribute to the education and well-being of communities impacted or supported by the hospitality industry.

We encourage all our members to identify projects in the communities in which they are located and will earmark a percentage of foundation funds as matching funds for member projects.

Charitable organizations we support include:

The Whole World Water Fund
Funds raised through the sale of WHOLE WORLD Water are re-invested in safe, clean water projects around the world.

Kind Traveler
The heart that loves travel is the heart that can do good things for the whole community – people, animals, and the environment.  You donate to a choice of top-rated charities to benefit the community; You get a great deal on your next trip. It feels good to travel kindly.

Invincible Me
An iniative to uplift women who have been in less fortunate situations but their spirit is alive and their talents are undiscovered. By stimulating their creative nature, we spark the inner artist of these victims.
