With a talent for creating and operating one of a kind brands, Cara is a seasoned hotelier and brand visionary with a proven track record of success. Her extensive leadership skills acquired from over 15 years of on the ground management include launching hotels and luxury residences in competitive markets where only the best rise to the top.
Cara’s prior roles include Vice President, Global Hotel Brand Management and Vice President, Operations for The Americas portfolio at Cachet Hospitality. Responsible for all aspects of the Cachet hotel brand, her focus was defining, developing and implementing Cachet brand standards across CHG hotels and residential properties worldwide. As Vice President of Operations, she maintained a constant focus on Owner and Stakeholder needs, utilizing leadership and business strategy to drive revenue while consistently improving the financial performance of each asset.
Prior to Cachet, Cara was pre-opening and operating General Manager for Proper Hospitality, as well as Vice President of Room Sales and Hotel Operations for real estate developer and interior designer, Avi Brosh. Cara’s accomplishments included oversight of the notable, Palihouse Santa Monica, on Conde Nast’s 2014 Hot List of Best New Hotels in the World.
Cara began her career with the leadership of famous hotelier André Balazs, establishing sales and operational strategies for the grand opening of the iconic Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. She worked closely with the team of powerhouse public relations veteran Nadine Johnson, to position the brand for immediate success and long-term growth. She also held a variety of strategic Director roles with lifestyle brands during multi-million-dollar renovations, including The Roger Hotel in New York City and The Oceana Beach Club in Santa Monica.
Cara attended Parsons School of Design in New York City and graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University, with a Bachelor of the Arts in Communications, and a double minor in Business and Art Studio.
